Motherly shadows

You nailed fitting the title, Thomas, very convincingly.
In both cases, the boy gives an impression of total
content and freedom… as parents, we know the value
of these when world exploration is done in safety! (y)

I absolutely love these, they really tell the story and as Daniel said, the boy just looks so confident and content in his space, maybe safe in the knowledge that Mum is always there! Beautiful work Thomas!

Both brilliant shots, love the second with the stick in his hand, hope I can capture a shot like this soon.

Thanks a lot! Not always i get such good feedback!

these where not intentional
What? o_O You're kidding… no way you're gonna make
me believe you didn't press the trigger intentionally!

I know what you meant but that is irrelevant. What counts
is that many many times, shots are taken without having
the time to look at everything in the frame and this leads
to surprising content. Associated to similar shots, it brings
up very cool results… like these.

That's your own fault, buddy, you only had not to post such
nice photographs. :D

Thanks Kodiac. I totally agree with what you said. Maybe I meant that I didn't go out thinking i will take a photo called motherly shadow and have the mum blurred in the background. It just happened.
