we bought the kids some mp3 players for Christmas.
From woolies they were the MP-F57, now they seem to work ok with Windows media player, but in explorer they don't appear as another drive. www.mpmaneurope.com. We have 3 of these drives (one for each kid) and so it doesn't look like a faulty player
Looking at the support for them - it says this can happen and that you should remove XP Service Pack 2 and go back to 1. This seems a strange move.
I've tried them on 3 pcs all with XP SP2, and got the same results Media player picks them up but explorer doesn't give a drive (they do appear in additional devices but you cant explore them)
So the question - has anyone out there got one of these? and have you solved the problem?
Thanks
Allan
