While trying to regain some control and order on my PC the other day I started to discover some shots which I had overlooked.
This is one such shot from 2012 on a trip to the Isle of Lewis.

I vaguely remember the night I shot this and don't think I had any diffusion for the flash so it's a bit harsh and maybe not as well balanced as it should be but I still quite like it.

No, I can see what you mean

I like that, the flash makes it work for me.

flash worked fine...pardon my age but is your flash a thyristor model...or are those not made now.. just curious
if i got a flash for my lumix G5 i guess i would have to get a dedicated one.??
ps..a crop down to the first cloud bank would emphasise the subject more imho
cheers

Am I the only one who sees the rock as a sleeping elephant?

I see a rhino rather than elephant, there is also a strange face just down to the left from her feet, :)

Thanks Rick.

Thanks Geof, I think the flash at that time was prbably a cheap Yongnuo 560.
