My first attempt at Football photography

These images are nicely exposed and sharp which is good, were you standing up for these or sitting down? and maybe try some different angles.

here's one of mine from when I first started football photography.

I've had to share the link due to Dacato rules I think is the name.

May I ask where this was?

Thanks, yes i was sitting down for most of the photos, but kept moving round the pitch to find the best position to get the photos i wanted. Was a game from the Bournemouth Sunday League, played in Christchurch.

Not a bad effort! no.1 is a bit over-exposed. trouble with sunday league is all the random spectators - spoils no.2. Try and find an angle with the least clutter. In no.3 I'd crop out the player and the chap on the left and make the other players the focus. don't need to stick to 'regular' sizes if it ruins the shot.

I thought so, an improvement would be to get a lower viewpoint but on a flat field its hard but in most football grounds the playing surfaces are elevated a little so its easier to get a low viewpoint. Overall Nice Attempt.

Ok very random but delving through my flickr stats today i stumbled across this thread, i am not entirely sure why sean has linked one of my photos as his, seeing this is a thread regarding football, and my photo is of a startrail???
