I managed to get hold of the Jessops extension tubes so, when I got them home, I grabbed the first remotely interesting thing I could find :)

This was taken with my 'Nifty Fifty' and the 31mm tube, 1/8 @ F9.0, ISO 1600 (oops!)

Processing: slight straighten & crop, WB adjustment (tungsten), level & curves tweaks, run through neat image, resized and sharpened.

C&C welcomed.

Thanks
Paul

thats very good, I get my tubes this afternoon if I finish work on time.

how do you find neat image?

Thanks rwotton. I wonder what'll be the first thing you see to try them out on ? :)

How do I find Neat Image? It's just there on my desktop ... ;)

To be honest, I haven't done too much with it - just load the file, use the Auto profile and apply it. Some have been successful and had some great results, others had limited success producing artificially 'smooth' looking or leaving nearly as much noise. It very much depends on the image. Overall, it's been good.

Looks like your set up is working well.
