My first try!

Hi All,

I just received my Raynox DCR-250 yesterday and after finally making it home about 10pm last night I was desperate to find something to try it on.

These were taken with my 350D + Kit Lens + DCR-250.

I cheated and found myself a dead fly:

I know they're not up to the standard of most guys here but I'm chuffed to be able to join in on the macro scene now.

That's defo a dead fly.
The pen is fine.

More light and more practice. :)

Welcome to the club CD :D that fly looks pretty creepy and you got the focus nailed on the pen ;)
 
These things are getting tempting, image quality looks first class .

Awesome results for something so cheap. Do they affect Autofocus or the amount of light entering the camera?

(I cheated with 'still' subjects :p The moving ones are a pain to shoot! :D :D :D )
