My friends Ferrari

Whilst this isn't my genre this image just does not work for me. Selective colour is rarely (if ever) a good ides imo/e, particularly when the selected coloured area is out of focus. The point of focus seems to be somewhere around the top of the headlight making the foreground areas oof which are distracting. The angle it is shot at/from also doesn't work for me either. Sorry if that seems harsh.
 
I would agree with Paul to an extent, the selective colour draws your eye to the badge which is out of focus.

I think the idea is good and wonder if being more square on the front of the car so the Badge is more of a true rectangle would help
 
Technically, the DoF is far too narrow and the PoV doesn't work. For a shot like this it is better to be slightly lower still and include the tires and contact with the ground. It would also be better to use the centre line of the bonnet as if it were a vertical when composing the shot.
