These are a few shots from today, Im just concentrating on getting them in focus! May then i can move onto DOF and better composition! Please let me know if they are sharp in the right place, thanks

#1 and #3 look the 'sharpest' to me; but a good set (y)

No 3 for me. Those flowers in the background just set it off nicely.
 
1,2 and 3 all look sharp to me,#4 seems a tad soft. I like #1 best as it different from the norm, but i`m like that.......:D
 
:agree: they don't look too bad at all ... (y) ... on birds (and anything living that has eyes ... :D) you should really concentrate on getting the eye/s in sharp focus ... the rest will follow ... :shrug: ... I reckon you are ready to move on to the other stuff now ... like DoF ... ;)

Absolutely chuffed with all the replies, I was getting ready to go back to my 300d, couldnt get the 40d to focus right at all! I thinks i have sorted that one now, looking up DoF next (y)
