My Macro Close Up Thread Update 08/Oct

Thanks Neil. Just added a 2mm thick piece of white open cell foam sheet to the diffuser to see how that goes. Have got several pieces so will add another and try that sometime. I think it's going to be quite difficult to remove all traces of reflection on objects with a shiny surface but i'm pretty happy with the results in such a short space of time.

That should never be your goal... hopefully that's not what you are trying to do. A flatly lit object will be uninteresting and boring.

Make sure you leave a gap between your layers. ;)
 
I guess what I'm trying to do is minimise hot spots. Easier said than done
