I just picked up my first lorry and given my photographic bent, papped the heck out of it. Most of the shots I'm about to include were taken when the signwriters were doing their thing, shot for them rather than for myself, the working shots were taken out on the road this week and processed with (sorry) Instagram. Signwriting shots were taken on a Fuji XT-2 with a 35mm f1.4, out on the road shots were done on the G7X Mk.II. All used only natural light.

1) I was looking for a header shot for my website, (when I finally get around to building it).

2) Karl, the signwriter is a friend and an ex-Nikon bloke, (he flogged his cameras to expand his signs business).

3) Putting the finishing touches to the wagon at the end of the job.

4) The finished front of the beast.

5) Out and about working. Delivering 20t of paper on reels to Bristol. G7X shot.

6) As I put it on social media, I was getting a little Otis Redding waiting for my next load at Tilbury and out came the G7X again. I Instagrammed this one hence the squareness, the full image doesn't crop out the front of the Atlantic Explorer, (which hasn't been exploring much, its been parked there for over a month now.)

All thats left to do now is christen the truck which will take place on Sunday/Monday when I get in to start another week of loosing money hand over fist, then I'll get properly pap-happy with the sides of the wagon too no doubt. It does look good after a run through the local truck wash this afternoon.

C&C welcome.

As a fellow trucker but not being able purchase my own I will look forward to seeing your adventure and wish you every success. Keep posting your pics.
