My pics 2015.

@Lee O'D
@Lee Aaron
@gjt880

Couple of weeks off guys, young are not showing on the ledge yet.

Could not be bothered taking my 500, so opted for the 750 in crop mode,300 and 1.7tc, asking far too much of the set up, just a record shot

I need to move somewhere rural :confused:

Lovely shots as usual, really like that second stoat shot (y)
Thanks Gavin, stoat was only about 20 feet from the peregrine nest site,didn`t go near though.

You need to move north mate, escape the rat race.....:D

Good stuff Ade. Won`t have thought a stoat venturing up there, but their fearless critters these.
Peregrines coming on well. (y)
I reckon prime time is just before we go to the North Lee.

Ade - thanks for the trip out today, really enjoyed it :)

Don't have any photos of all 3 chicks but definitely saw one on the first ledge and 2 through the tree on the back ledge :)

Still sifting through my photos - just wish the sun would have paid us a visit when the male was out on the branch.

Dave.

Ah well, I thought i saw three on the ledge, no probs though.

Enjoyed your company today and glad you saw some different things Dave.

Some crap peregrine shots from today, I reckon two of the three chicks will be airbourne within a week:

And two crap video clips because is was windy as hell up there.

Usual abysmal quality on here, click through to Flickr for better. Getting to be a waste of time posting shots on TP.

Lovely to see Ade is be happy just to see some let alone photograph them :)

Really love that last one in velvet Ade, are you using a Nikon 500mm f4?

yeah, click through for Flickr, look far better.

I keep forgetting to check this thread as I enjoy your images. The peregrines may be crap shots to you, but I like them as I can see them in their natural habitat rather than a filled frame as it were. It makes a nice change.

Gotta love that stoat though, cheeky chap :)

Cheers Paul. I do prefer creatures photographed in habitat rather than the perfect clear backgrounds. I appreciate the effort involved in the clean background shots, but they just don`t appeal to me very much. One from further afield, the fiirst one above is not cropped,this one is just for composition.

See again I like that one despite the stoat being relatively small in the frame. It is nice to see a mix of "portrait" type shots and environmental - for me anyway :)

More lovely images Ade you certainly put in the effort and get the rewards :)

Loving the Stoat pics Ade - they are tenacious little things.

Saw this video the other day and it made me smile:

Dave.
