Starting to work at motorsport recently and finding a few problems with the DoF, I'm getting sharpness at front or rear or middle (depending on where the focus was) but rarely all through, is this acceptable?
I'm thinking that some of the angles are the problem (I accept my technique is not best yet), but I would have thought f6.3-f8 would at 40 yds on a 300mm would have been enough on a 45 degree angle target.??
Any comments gratefully received.
Here's a couple of the better ones this weekend. (The head on was a crop from about 100m across from the chicane ).
Cheers,
John
