Captured at night with Panasonic FZ200, probably Raynox 150, diffused Venus KX800, hand-held. 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.
Not too keen on the pair of flash highlights on the eye in these, but the beetle was completely inside the wall and I found it interesting that the KX800 let me get the illumination coming in from the front so I could illuminate the beetle and the wall behind it.
