Nikon D750 & D780

No chickens at the agricultural show today. :(

But a few sheep. :)

28-300. Natch.;)

My recently acquired 85mm/f1.8 AF-D seems sharp enough for me.

I like those older lenses for their size and weight. My 20mm/f2.8 is a belter and has saved me from getting the bigger f1.8. No doubt the D760 will tempt me with a flippy touch-screen to make moving the focus point easier.

Wife's off in Ibiza sunning herself this weekend with friends, so me and the little one had an hour or so at the funfair in Stourport.... Bit grim if truth be told! Thankfully she wasn't keen on the boats for hire on the river either! :D

Stunning.

Can i ask what you do to the background? I notice a lot of this type of style. How do you edit it so well? That's assuming that it wasn't like this SOC.
Thanks Mark. I don't tend to do anything to the background tbh, the only one I did was the tiger on the platform I posted a few months ago. This is how it looked after cropping but before adjustments. The only adjustments I applied were dehaze, which not only helped with contrast but also made it very vibrant (in hindsight I might maybe should have toned the colours down), upped the whites a bit and added sharpening.

Ah, not much at all really then. Background really compliments the bird.

I'm still on the hint for a 24-85mm or 24-120mm for my D750 (plus a samyang wide angle if I can find one), can anyone recommend other reputable second hand sources others than on here?

Harrisons, WEX, MPB, Camera Jungle, London Camera Exchange. However, for the price of the 24-120mm used I'd buy from HDEW new for £475

Or if you want one in the Proper gold box then Panamoz, which is still only just more than mint used from stores.

Thanks, but I am primarily looking at second hand and from this country so I can get it in time :)

Then all those that I listed first are all places I've bought from and been happy with.

Advice needed...

A family friend has a new dog and wants some action shots. I'm not an action photographer, but have admired those shots of dogs in mid air as they run towards you. Anyone done this type of shot? If so, what's the best lens to use for quickness of auto focusing. (I might have to rent as I've only got a 50mm and 135mm) And what auto focus setting will handle such a fast moving subject coming at you? Predictive?
Thanks in advance!
