I think you may be a bit confused because the foreground slopes. Copy and past the image into PS and try laying a grid over it.

Have to say Dave I thought the same as you so I checked and it's spot on. Still, I like the image and the colours are great with the tram lines over laying the (leaning ) tower.

I like it alot! Good work, the trails work well with it being a busy urban area

I shot it with and without the light trails and to me it looked much better with them, there wasn't a great deal of foreground interest without them.

Yep. The light trails work for me.

I'm less sure about the overall darkness of the shot, possibly more so because the lights are off on the second-from-top floor. I'd have been tempted to try a longer exposure.

Though it does reveal a very different character to the building to that which it has in daylight and helps keep the blue lighting blue.
