Always pleased to go Rutland Water.... it's either stunning landscapes or Wildlife - it never disappoints.

One from a recent trip when I took a relative from Australia to experience this awesome place.

It was a most interesting day... the light was all over the place.

I keep getting drawn to this location but, for some reason, every time I go I'm faced with a compromise with the light.... maybe, one day, I should try getting up early. Not a morning person though!
 
I like the mirrored look of the shore rocks and cloud formations, pleasing.

Love the conversion and the atmosphere of this shot. Rutland Reservoir is now firmly on my "places to visit" list.

Thanks.... it's one of those places where the 'atmosphere' changes every couple of hours.
