A couple of pictures from tonight. Good to have a bit of clear sky at last. Got a lot of mist/frost on the lens, the tripod legs got frozen too and my shoes add a layer of ice on the toe cap. I missed a bit of action when i decided to move. Sadly it was a really short burst of activity.
Still manage to get a few pictures in the bag. Hope you like them.

Excellent. I heard on the radio this morning that the aurora had been visible up north and wondered if anyone had managed to photograph them. Can I ask where they were taken (first especially)?

Got them now. Been there hundreds of times with and without my dogs. And the stones "down the road". Excellent photographs, well done.

Thanks robert, there is a lot of house sparkles around this area specially just across the lock. Not easy to get a nice composition which exclude them. The northern light cried for including more to the right but there lot's of building i cropped just out of the frame.

Modify it slightly and start using flickr instead. Looks like the google photo drive have vanished again?
