Answered Notification on Android Chrome

Hi

Is there anyway to get notifications on the android Chrome Web app?

On another forum I use if I am watching a thread and someone replies to it I get a notification, is this possible on the TP website via Android Chrome?

I've no idea how the chrome web app works,
but your personal settings were set to "No" for notifications.
I've changed them to yes, lets see if that was the issue.

Thank you for checking but still does not work.

Not sure if it is a a website setup type of change as when I login to the other forums it say to enable push notifications which I do not get on TP.

I'm pretty sure that push notifications are an app based thing,
but I know very little about apps.

I'll Tag @Marcel into this as he knows about such things,
and maybe able to spread more light.

In the mean time, why not give TP a go through the www?
Your'll notice that it is very mobile friendly.

Sorry Sir, may not have been clear when I say chrome app on android.

I am using the site from the chrome browser installed on my android phone, and also have chrome on my laptop. However on the other forum when I am watching a thread and someone replies I get a notification on both my phone and the laptop, which I do not seem to get when using TP through the www.

I tweaked what I thought was the issue, obviously not.

On the laptop I get a pop up and on the phone I get a ping and a bell icon. Looking at the other site they have a section under Setting for Push notifications. Am I okay to drop you a PM with the form and a screen shot of what I can see on their forum?
