That's kinda the whole point of the image. as I've said it won't be everyones cup of tea.

Morning Darren, its only last week I was saying on one of Russ's threads that I though his shot would've benefited from a little more dof, so saying I like this sounds a bit hypocritical, but I do. The 'in your face' feel works well

One thing I have noticed though is the blue cast to the bill and the birds grey head/feathers, selectively reducing the blue channel just to those areas does give a more natural look
