Nicely framed shots, I prefer the first as the view of the eye is clearer

It looks like you've go a little heavy on the noise reduction which has smeared the fine feather detail on the bird

Thanks .. yes it was quite noisy as the light was poor... I have the original so will tone it down a touch.
