A typically pugnacious specimen of Sciurus Carolinensis in Sidmouth.

This one saw me attempting to get a shot of a crow and made a high speed dash in my direction. My guess is that one or two previous photographers had bribed him to pose. I grabbed this shot and turned my attention elsewhere. He hung around a little longer, then turned and stalked off; if looks could kill, I'd be typing this from the deepest pit in hell!

Love it! I watched one the other day playing in a tree with a magpie. The magpie kept flying up in the air and then landing quite close to the squirrel on different branches. Each time the squirrel would suddenly coming lunging after him and the process repeated itself. I laughed at them for a good ten minutes.

Its the stare that does it seems as though he has it all under control,well captured like the pose.
