Old grain store ?

I saw this old building in a field in Low Middleton, near Darlington in North Yorkshire, and thought it might have been a grain store.
Perhaps a northern equivalent to a Kentish oast house ?
Whatever else It was a treat to see some sun - and sun on old red brickwork always exudes warmth

Interesting building.
There's a pronounced halo around the roof though.

Great textures, a building that's obviously seen a few years ... and a bit of subsidence!
