Old Warden Spring Airshow

Went along to the Shuttleworth Collection's first airshow of the season. The weather was mainly good although quite strong crosswinds prevented the more fragile aircraft from taking to the skies.

Nice shots. Mr Teichmans p40 looks superb in the battle weary colours shes wearing at the mo. Cant wait for the film to come out.

Yes it was a great day, first time I've visited Old Warden and it has an atmosphere all of it's own, something quite different from large scale displays, very enjoyable.

Some great shots Tim, I've only been once before to Old Warden, but it one of the most entertaining airshows in this country if you like the older generation of aircraft. They have a fantastic collection of aircraft there and they get so close to the crowd line because of the layout of the airfield you could almost reach out and touch them.

Thanks for the comments guys... I've been assured that this seasons airshows will be the best yet in recent years regarding the weather!
Confirmed by a gardener and a fisherman who believe in Moon phases!...Make of that what you will!
