A first for me, and its been a while since I posted, a chuffing train ;)

I read that Oliver Cromwell was being taken out of service on Monday as her ticket had expired, and Sunday was her last run before she goes in for overhaul, so I bought an all day ticket and spent the day floating back and forth on the Great Central line.

I have processed this to give it a feeling you see in the train paintings of the late Shepard, and to try and bring out the majesty of the locomotive, I hope it works :)

I like the picture, lots of detail and atmosphere, I feel the vignette is a little strong for my taste but that does evoke the style of David Shepherd.
 
I must admit I have considered adding some of the grass detail down the right hand side.
 
I like what you've done with that - very appealing :)

I like it, I feel the vignette draws you to the power of the loco and it makes a lovely portrait of a stunning engine.
