On my pond and Ice this morning

I spotted this little chap out for a wander

I did think it was a Meadow Pipit - I know now it is in fact a Water Pipit

Hello Les, that first one says more Water Pipit than Meadow to me - given the overall colouring and the markings on the head? Could be wrong though as I find pipits a bloomin nightmare

Excellent shots Les can't believe its cold enough to start freezing over how shallow is the pond?

That second shot you could have a least got one bird in focus (only joking)
