Did you step forward or to the right to get a different angle as that stuff in the foreground is blocking a pleasant view IMO.

“I do appreciate what you’re saying matey and partly agree with you. I’m also the first to admit that I’m no landscape photographer. On this occasion it wasn’t feasible to step forward or to the right because of brambles & nettles etc (I only had shorts on) :). Having said that I do prefer some foreground interest to my snaps to give them a bit of depth etc”
