For the last few weeks i've been working flat out, in some horrendous weather conditions, to prepare the gardens for an open day to the public. It's taken about 2 weeks just to cut the hedges and topiary. These are private gardens on a country estate in Shropshire (they're not my gardens, i just work and live there and have done for the last 10yrs). I'm not sure my photos do it justice, the light this morning wasn't great.

Good set Dominic, #1 is really very good IMHO and, not that I know the place, you seem to be conveying a good sense of it and I do like the wheel barrows
 
Stunning gardens. The hedges, lawns and borders are looking magnificent!
