Just before tier 4 kicked in I made a trip to a local water meadows to catch Orion. My favourite shots from the night. It was cold, the car said -1C when I got back in at 1am!! The thin high clouds gave a lovely diffuse glow to the bigger stars. I went to another location before this one and despite some spectacular reflections of the stars across a lake, the shots are lacking the same impact as these for me. The clouds and the resulting glow are more impacting.
