Otters in Shetland (pics added 22/02/2024)

A cracking set.
121 shows their excellent camouflage in that enviroment..........nice.

I would love to return to the beautiful Shetlands, shame its a bit on the expensive side to get the car over from Aberdeen(in my opinion).........plus the wife only remembers the rain, hail, fog, drizzle, gales, from our two previous visits in May and June:(

Cheers, and it is indeed expensive! I think they have reduced some of the fares though. As islanders we get discount on the the fare and car, but not the cabin unfortunately.

John I've probably already thrown what I could word wise , at you............ all credit they are lovely always a joy

The last is growing on me John maybe the kind of image I wouldn't see or be drawn to it's so clever the way the lines work with the paw.

Yeah, Otter-taking-bird was a shot I'd never got before. Would rather it wasn't under these circumstances, but it's an event that happened. I hoped the Otter would see me and leave the bird but it dragged it off out of sight.
With the amount of dead and dying birds around, I'm sure it's already happened several times already :(
