Good, sharp set. Liked those a lot, especially 1-4.

Derek, what camera and lens is this? My only gripe would be the amount of noise in the images? You could correct that without too much fuss in PS but just interested to see from where it cometh!

I used a Sigma 105mm Macro and a Canon 7d Mk2. Also a flash with a pringle tin around it. I think I have a tendency to over sharpen which causes some of the noise.

Nice set of images Derek, with some very fine detail.

"Bit noisy but that still doesn't distract from a nice set".

Hmm.. the sharpening wouldn't cause that level of noise. What ISO were you at and what level of crop?

Nice set. I particularly like #2 and #6.

I'm a bit puzzled by the noise. I'm not seeing noise that is troubling my eyes (I'm looking at the backgrounds, including the larger versions posted at Flickr).
