I was on walkabout around Linkoping (Sweden) with my camera when I came across an Under 14 ice hockey match, I only had a 24-120 with me but could have done with 70-200 at least (I normally shoot motorsport).
Even though the lads were only quite young they showed good skill chasing after the bright pink ball.

a tad under exposed.. plus as with all this type of sports.. lower is better :)

Thanks for the comment Kipax. I agree with 'lower is better', as can be seen from my avatar, a slushy sideline and incorrect clothing prevented me from assuming the default position. ;-)

Couple of good shots Fran, with the first one being the better of the two for me. Good composition and colour with some good consentration looks on the faces.(y)

The sport though is not Ice Hockey but is in actual fact "Bandy".

George.

Thanks for the comments and the info, Keith & George. I assumed that they were playing ice hockey, however, after a google search and reading about bandy you're right. Info on Bandy.
You learn something new everyday ;-)
