Something about hands is bothering me, but I don't know what.

Well I'm glad you mentioned that. I used a 24 1.8 lens with camera held in vertical position. Would this combination produce an image where her hand appears too large compared to her head?

Well yes… if head and hands were not at the same
distance from the lens —which is not the case here.

The left hand is not doing anything but hanging. All
her body is contributing to a typical latin curvy pose
except for her left hand.

Maybe you could suggest her to integrate that limb
into some kind of floating, dancing motion…
