New forum, new picture.

Paris at Dusk, taken on Monday whilst I was enjoying my three day surprise visit to Paris as part of my birthday present from my wonderful other half.

Always dreamed of visiting Paris and managed to fit a lot of iconic sights in during our stay. Hopefully will add a few more to this once i've had a chance to look at them.

I love the fact that high rise buildings are almost non existent in Paris, it helps to retain the cities historical value and architectural heritage.

A must visit for anybody that hasn't been.

Ah Tour Montparnasse, the best place to be in Paris as it is the only place in Paris you cannot see it!

A brilliantly composed shot and love the dramatic sky. The eye is drawn to the horizon with the help of the roads.

Thanks for all the kind comments Tour Montparnasse is something you have to do if visiting Paris, a great view across the city, especially at Sunset Will hopefully add some more images as I get time to process them

Haha, Im not going to get away with anything here with your vast knowledge.

I tried in vain to find the original quote so went with my own interpretation.

Re-viewing the shot, I think I like it even more upon second viewing. The sky is so dramatic.
