It always amazes me, when you look at stuff from the past, especially buildings how they managed without all of today's modern tools and technology.

i took that shot at a fort in malta where they also give a lecture on the blade and guns
the craftsmanship in the blade is phenomenal
what i am most astounded is the ability to produce such high calibre of tool steel

Which fort was it? My dad is from Malta and I'll be back over there to visit family in September so will try and pop along.
