Payment by paypal goods and services

Is it safe to take payment by paypal goods and services?
I have heard stories of people sending goods and then the funds being withdrawn. Can they do that on this service?

It’s always a gamble even with BT .. I presume your selling something do you know the buyer ,are they on here , or just joe bloggs from faceberk ... the former about 90% safe the latter. Be carefull ... if someone uses PayPal they should also have a online profile I.e e.bay feedback , if I was asked I have a 100% clear Feedback profile over around 1800 sales

It's just a Joeblogs, on FB and have heard stories about payments being reversed based on a false claim but was not sure.

There was a spate of such events about seven or eight years ago. It didn't happen to me but I did know two people who both claimed they were unfairly treated. Things may well have improved since then but a good place to ask would be https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Community/ct-p/en

I won't use PP any more as I have had payments reversed to scammers. They ALWAYS take the side of the purchaser, so they'll never see another payment with me involved.

Yes they can and do , It cost me £500 some years ago

I will never use paypal. They are a law onto themselves, you have no ombudsman etc you can appeal too.
