Penrose triangle

This was my first real trial using my image editor to seriously alter an image, in fact to make a composite of two images. The exercise was very instructive, to the point that I had to redo it several times to develop a working process to suit the subject. In the end, I stopped trying to improve it. Here it is with some flaws, but of some interest, I hope.

We all see the flaws in our own images more than others. It looks pretty good to me.

It's certainly made it bold, but for me, this has lost some of it's realism.. Not that you can tell in the original, but I spent a little while adjusting the shadows, I wouldn't like to lose them.

I do love the idea- very well shot - might I suggest a darker BG & crop

The illusion is semi-lost for me with the darker ground , ie the original works better
