Pet Chickens

Please tell me I'm not the only photographer with pet chickens?

Usually I photograph the in the garden doing their chickeny thing, sometimes I get them in the studio, but my god, THE POOPS! Show me your beautiful chickens guys!

Lol. Chicken in a studio. Rather you than me!

We've been keeping chickens for over ten years now. Still struggle to photo them properly. They move so quick. Not so much fast shutter speed, but by the time you've framed them, they've moved!




And this is Lavender at the bottom of the pecking order (our newbie). She just makes me chuckle ever time I see her.


I think this is "fat Doris" as my wife calls her. Could be wrong though, I've given up with names...

Your ladies are GORGEOUS! Fat Doris is such a good name and they're all beauties.

They are a bugger for moving. Unless they're broody in which case you just end up with a picture of a fluffy pancake
