Hi guys,

I got my new camera today, so i thought i'd take a few photos, so here's one of my attempts

(please bear in mind i've never used a DSLR before XD)

Colours are great... light like that can really make a great image. I think the composition lets it down here. Perhaps try and get some of the ground in as well to add context... would certainly help here imho

Scoped I think the 60d will do you proud, and you will do it proud. I have about 10,000 photos in Lightroom and they're all crap, maybe you will be epic before me.

I agree with Woodsy, a bit more foreground (doesn't really matter on the content as it's a dark silhouette) would help frame the colour of the sky and add a bit more to the photo, but the colours are good. Keep playing
