photo shoot locations in manchester

Hi! I am doing a photo shoot soon in Manchester and was wondering where are the best urban places to shoot.
I am a student and got a model for this shoot, I would prefer to have it somewhere abandoned, old building
without getting caught and the weather in Manchester is not always great so looking somewhere that has a cover.

Around the castlefield area is popular for an outdoors type shoot, I guess you can make it look abandoned. If you head to the pub called dukes 92 and have a mooch round there you might find what you are looking for, it is quite busy with foot traffic and overlooked with train and trams running on the lines above.
