South-East England Photographing a Harvest Mouse

Yesterday evening I thought I would try and capture one of these little beauties. But the truth be told I have no idea where to look and what to look out for. Are they in the middle of a corn field or the edge?
What should I be looking out for, thick hedges to the side of the field, or woods? Would I have more chance of getting one where wild black berries are?

Good luck finding wild ones these days.
Hedgerows would be the place to look for them though.

Bwc have them in captivity if that any help
