Photos from a kite using a GoPro

I'm Mark and I'm new here. I'm a university student in London, United Kingdom and both my friend and I fly kites as a hobby.

As part of a self-initiated project, and after the devastating failure of our drone, we've decided it would be fun to attach a GoPro to a kite in attempt to get some nice aerial photographs. If anyone has any nice locations in London or Kent we could visit with nice views please let us know! :)
 
Hello Mark, views in Kent, Canterbury Cathedral springs to mind, not sure whether you'd get a kite in the air though!

How about the new bridge across to Sheppy :)
 
Hey Jak! Thanks for the suggestions! :) I'm sure if we pick a particularly windy day and an open spot we could give it a go! We could head to Sheppy - what's around there may I ask?:rolleyes:
 
Two bridges, each rises up when ships/boats will not fit under the bridge. Should make an interesting shot methinks, especially at sunrise/sunset.
And across the water onto the island is the nature reserve, Emley National NR.
 
Oh they sound great, especially if we could time it perfectly with the bridge opening & closing! Thanks for the suggestions!
