I wonder if someone can help please.
I have downloaded some PS shapes with an .ABR extension and while I can import them into PS they are not visible in shapes.
Downloading and importing shapes with a .csh extension is no problem and these show up no problem.
Does anyone have any bright ideas?

From a quick google, abr files are brushes.

Thank you for that , the download showed them as shapes not brushes and they do show up in the brush panel with no indication as to which is which and as such they are no use at all for my purpose but thanks again.
At least I know the difference between the two file types.

I think you can convert the brush image into a shape from a png file (or other image files, if that helps at all.
