A few photos I took today of my female Panther chameleon, Pixie. She is really glowing at the moment!

Sharp that is!

The problem with on camera flash is it tends to render
rather flat images. Ever looked for off camera flash?

Totally agree with Kodiak - and I am jealous that you have such a lovely subject at home!

Lovely creatures, and potentially great shots with the water drops. If you cant use OCF, then a piece of tissue in front of the onboard flash can help, as well as dialling the flash compensation right back.
Failing that, up the ISO and shoot without flash- they arnt super quick movers.

Thanks for the constructive input! What does dialling the flash compensation right back mean please?

She's a beautiful girl and I'm still learning how to use my new bridge camera.

Flash comp:
What many new photographers have trouble coming to grips with, is the concept of :
1. adding exposure compensation when the scene / subject is light in tone,
2. and decreasing exposure compensation when the scene in front of the lens is darker in tone.

The reason for doing so, is that your camera’s meter tries to expose for everything as a middle grey tone.

Your camera may or not have this ability, I know nowt about bridge cameras.
