Thanks Les. Mono because it's the only way to get these tones and appearance. The original was not especially colourful anyway.

That's fine, I didn't take it that way. Most of my output in in mono these days because it simplifies the images and I can't get the kind of appearance I want in colour. Sometimes I see the scene in mono when I shoot, other times it's obvious that's what I want when processing.

Don't hate me Steve - I'm not *that* bad.
This was an old 'budget' Tamron 90 f2.8 Macro lens on an adapter, so nothing special about the kit.
I can only hope to one day have the skill to spot something like this. Simple and elegant.
