It's been a bit rough down my way recently with Porthleven being battered by some of the biggest waves for a century.

Must have been an awesome spectacle! Glad you kept a safe distance!

Great shots - love the way you have gone for a wide angle so as to capture the might of the waves, not just in the foreground, but crashing against the rocks too.

Think you need to check the horizon, unless I'm sitting on a wonky chair.
I think the roof is a distraction in the last one, Not knowing the area, could you have got a bit higher?

I assure you that all horizons are straight, i went through exactly the same thing myself, thinking "what is going on here?" It seems that it is a mixture of the headlands and waves that is doing this. With regards to the pano, i know what you mean about the roof but the higher road has other issues that would interfere with the photograph. I experimented with cloning it out but tbh it seems a lot of effort for not a lot of gain. Thanks for your comments guys.
