There does seem to be plenty of robins around this winter and like you I never tire of photographing them. Here are three of mine taken at Burbage Common in Leicestershire. The first and third were chosen as favourites on the BBC Winterwatch group,so that has boosted the views.

I got this fella with my 5DMkII and 70-200 f4 while out feeding squirrels and just had to grab him. This is a Jpeg, SOOC, with no PP apart from cropping.

I really am not in the same league as you guy's, 99% of the shots on here are incredible. I am not normally a bird shooter, but I can see the appeal.
I was feeding the ducks when this little guy popped over and posed for several shots, he was an arms length away, and I had my Olympus Zuiko 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 (28-108mm equiv).

I have edited it a little not too drastically and cropped it to a suitable size.

Thanks for looking.

Best Regards...........Alan

i took this pensive one today on Otmoor it was a sun trap and very pleasent.

i was close enough not to need to crop, taken with my 300mm F4 on a FF camera.

the short eared owl was what i was looking for though,as he had been in the area for half an hour yesterday hunting.
