The first I like very much - nice silhouette with sparkly highlights. The second is spoiled by the darkening to the sky that has affected the rock & horizon.

In the second one, I had to use a graduated filter (the sun was, still, very powerful) but I liked it very much, especially the ambient it created.

The first has real potential but the flat tonal rendition of the sea on this is wasting the light you had I agree leave the birds and rock as silhouette but that sea needs to sparkle and there are no whites just grays in it.
The second I do not like as processed.
