Pyrenees

In both 1997 and 1998 we used our summer hols to go backpacking in the Pyrenees. We camped high when we could, and had some spectacular weather. Here are three images, digitised from 35mm Velvia.

Do you by any chance remember the name of that location please?

Thanks for all comments. LLP: no, my memory is not that good, but I've got the guide books out and will find the maps, and see if I can work it out. I think it may be near Espot. There's not enough snow on the central hill for it to be one of the big ones.

Fyi - location of the first image. We've had the maps out and traced our route as best we can remember. Am pretty sure this was taken on or near the GR11 in the Encantados (south of Viella), but we'd have left the GR11 to find quiet camping spots. The Encantados has many lakes and reservoirs, large and small, and we have no idea which this one was, or what the mountain is (could possibly be Bessiberri Nord?). The last image is in this area too.
