Managed a trip to RSPB Old Moor on Friday. Just as I was sitting down in my first hide of the day, a Kingfisher flew out from the bushes, hovered (well, hovered for a Kingfisher), moved about 10', hovered again, moved about 10', hovered and flew off!
Had to fire off shots quickly without having me or the camera ready so not the best of focus, hey
Never managed to see them do this sort of thing before so just happy to have got anything! The sun was shining really nicely behind him (or her) but unfortunately never repeated while I was there.
