RAF Coningsby

First ever shots. You are heading in the right direction, Phil.
I'd dump No.1. Having part of the port wing cut out of the picture does not help (nor does the jaunty angle).
The weather and lighting was very unkind to you. Never easy conditions that results in shots that lack contrast and punch. Sharpness could also be improved.
I think that some post processing work (if you are into that yet) would give these pics a lift.

I realise that when at an airfield you cannot easily pic your viewpoint and are often stuck with what you can get. If possible try to get an angle where there is no background clutter (e.g. hangars) to detract from the subject.

Good luck.

Thankyou for the response.

Very frustrating that it's a clear and dry day today with the sun out. If only I had waited.

I've only used photoshop touch on the iPad, perhaps not the best software for editing but I haven't invested into photoshop or Lightroom on the Mac yet.

Thanks for the advice on the background, next time I will do my best to get around the base for better backdrops.

Thanks again.

Phil
